L-O-L-A, Lola!

She is the ringtone on my phone, The Kink's "LOLA" plays each time someone needs to get a hold of me.   Lola is my big, gentle, patient, sweet, 7 year old Saint Bernard.  She is one of our  four dogs, but holds an extra special place in my heart.  Lola has been with me the longest, pre-homeowner, pre-shop owner, pre-husband, pre-second dog (aka Little Man Tate), pre-baby, and has welcomed all of the changes in our lives with open arms.  She never complains about sharing her yard, her bed, her food, her toys and is happy just to be in the family. 

I plan to devote a post to each of our four dogs over the next few weeks, a tribute to each of them and a thank you for being a part of the family.   Lola's kind, gentle manor and sweet face make me smile everytime I look at her.  She is my Lola, always there, never questioning, loving with all of her being.
