GOO

It's been some time since I have spent some quality time with a 9 year old boy, however yesterday I had the pleasure of sharing a morning with Noah Witt.  Noah is my dear friend Britt's son who came over yesterday with his sister Gabi while Mom and Dad shuffled on to work.

Keeping Gabi entertained was fairly easy since I already have an array of dolls, princess coloring books and Nick JR on TV :) Noah on the other hand was a good sport to pretend he was enjoying theses same things.  I decided we needed to do a little something more up his alley.  He mentioned this "goo" substance he made at camp once and I thought it might be fun to try!

We got on google and sure enough this stuff is rather easy to make...

One 16 oz box of cornstarch and 1 1/2 cups of water

Next, mix together...

Using a spoon proved to be rather difficult and not nearly as fun as using our hands :)

Once mixed, just have fun!

This mixture creates an interesting substance, if made into ball in the palm of your hand it's dry, hard and crumbly, but when simply touched lightly it's the consistency of water.

Very bizarre, but highly entertaining :)

Love the goo and so does Noah!! Do we dare try with food coloring like I did as a kid?? Maybe in your kitchen again ;-)
