I have to give a shout out to my amazing hens, this time each year I am always impressed with their ability to produce heavenly fresh eggs I use for fresh baked cookies, muffins, and of course Sunday breakfast! Even though the days are colder, shorter and the ground is covered in snow they are still laying eggs almost every day and are outside each morning waiting to greet me before I head off to work. My husband does a great job spoiling them with a heating lamp, shoveled paths out their door and food scraps from the kitchen. They deserve it, happy hens equals great fresh eggs!
